LIZ WARHAM Says: |
| THE WONDERFUL ROCO JAY |
|
“Thank you John and Gavin for introducing my daughter and me to Roco Jay. He has become part of the family farm within six weeks and settled in immediately. We had been really impressed when we went to see him (in fact, made the trip to Hungerford to see another two horses which had been sold by the time we arrived) but have not once doubted that he would do what it says on the packet, and so much more. The trial facilities were excellent and Gavin spent a lot of time making sure we were both happy with him – a difficult task when trying to find a horse for an woman “of a certain age” to hunt and a 30 something daughter to compete – combined with excellent character, temperament and reliability in stable. He has proved himself in this short time and has now gone on to jump a double clear show jumping and a clear round cross country. We are delighted with him. To add to that, nervous grand-daughter needed a first pony and, hey presto, John came up with Brandy who was bought un-seen and brought over from Ireland especially. He is a delight and has not put a hoof wrong. I certainly have no hesitation in recommending Elite Irish Horses and have, in fact, had several people ask me already where I sourced such a super stamp of horse as Roco. I have no doubt I will be pointing many more people in the direction of Hungerford in the future.” |

| TOMMY - A REAL GENT |
|
Hi Gavin, just wanted to say a huge thank you for Tommy, he\'s wonderful! And exactly what you said he would be, we have spent the last few weeks getting to know each other and he is a real joy. Everything is just so straight forward with him. He is so much more forward going than my last horse which came as a bit of a shock to start with but now I just sit back and enjoy the ride. Wanted to say thanks so much, I am hoping to go cross country schooling very soon so will try to get some decent pictures for you. With very best wishes Helen and Ian.

| MERLIN "THE GREAT" |
|
Hi Gavin, Thought I would let you know that Merlin has settled well into his new routine, he has been 100% in every way. He has really enjoyed the hacking in Windsor Great Park but a bit amused by the hundreds of red deer. We have had a couple of dressage lessons were he is progressing well. We have a show jumping lesson booked for next Saturday and planning to go XC schooling in a couple of weeks. He is a super little horse with a great personality and we have a bonded really well together and looking forward to competing him in the very near future. After losing my old girl after 20 yrs together I was not expecting to find a perfect replacement so easily but Merlin was a cracking find!! I will of course up date you on any successes we have together. I would definitely recommend Elite Irish Horses and Gavin for producing quality horses. Thanks Emma. |

| ZOLA - "WE ARE SO PLEASED" |
|
Dear John, thank you so much for being so honest about a pony that I brought from Elite Irish Horses called Zola. My daughter is only 12 years old but very tall so I needed the next step up but safety was my main concern. We have already had loads of fun with zola and he is everything and more than you said he was. Brittany loves him and I am sure that he will be with us for many years to come. Thank you so much to both Gavin and yourself for all your advise . Debbie Banks, Bury St Edmunds Suffolk |

| WILLIAM OF CLOVER FIELD |
|
Hi Gavin,
Just to let you know i adore Bill (now called William) and we have given him a full name of 'William of Clover field' to reflect his great talent. I have already done hacks, cross country jumps and pony club in just these past 10 days on him and have had so much fun! I just want t thk you for taking everything into account and finding me a perfect pony to buy. We found you to be very true to your word and William truly was everything you said be, and more.
I can't wait until the season i fully underway and will keep you updated on all of Williams successes- which there will be many! Your trial facilities were fantastic and would again like to thank you for all the time you put in to make sure William was the right horse for me. I have told everybody about you and your horses so hope others up here, can also have a pony like William!
Everything excites him and his ears are always pricked forward, trying to take everything in at one time. He dramatically changed from as slow as a donkey on our road hacks into an energetic bouncey young man in the ring which is exactly what we wanted. I couldnt be happier with William and hope to continue his run of success into tetrathlon season this year.
THANKYOU GAVIN and JOHN :)
Love Jessica Caldwell xxxx |

| A REAL DREAM FROM ELITE IRISH HORSES |
|
"Having been recommended to John and Gavin by a friend, my daughter is the proud owner of a 14.2hh Connemara pony.
Dream Boy has been an absolute pleasure since joining us. In such a short time he has given my daughter her confidence
and proved exactly as described by John and Gavin. Such a young mannerly pony is hard to find, but a truly genuine
unspoilt, quality animal is so rare.
In such a very short space of time my daughter has been confidently able to compete successfully at indoor show jumping, go hunting and cross country schooling for future British Eventing competitions
John and Gavin offer warm hospitality, with immaculate presentation of horses and stables combined with excellent trial
facilities and an "unpushy" atmosphere.
Having been around horses for many years it is welcoming to be shown an animal both honestly and accurately
described. Not only would I happily purchase another animal from John and Gavin I would have no hesitation in firmly
recommending Elite Irish Horses to other prospective purchasers." |

|
I am very happy with the hunter that I bought from Gavin at Elite Irish Horses. He is everything that he said he was and more. The facilities at Elite Irish Horses are fantastic. I wish that I had been brave enough to jumps some of those big fences at Boomerang. It was good to watch Gavin tackle them ! Gavin is very pleasant and helpful and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a horse. He seems to have quite a few classy horses there.

| Irish Sports Horses are the best ! |
|
'In my opinion Irish Sports Horses are the best for trainability and genuine aptitude. Finding them unspoilt, mannerly, well presented of good breeding and as described close to home is rare. Team Elite Irish Horses care about client satisfaction for their continued success and survival. Skilled at evaluation of stock and matching client need, enthusiastic and never condescending one feels that Gavin and John have all the time in the World to devote to making sure one gets what one wants. They are both thoroughly charming to deal with and introduced me to some jolly nice horses at their superb facility, one of which is now settling into a stable at home with me.'

| JAY - ONE IN A MILLION |
|
Hi Gavin,
Just a short note to say thank you and to update you on Jay's progress over the past couple of months.
We are very happy with Jay. Since we brought him home Poppy (now 12) has lunged him, hacked him out, taken him to BSJA training at Pyecombe - where he popped around a metre track as if it was nothing and at her first show with him jumped a double clear just missing a place in the Dengie winter league. He has proved to be everything you said he was, well mannered, safe and fun pony with bags of scope and potential. I would be happy to recommend you to anyone looking for a sane and sensible horse that does what they are supposed to do !
Thank you.

LUCINDA LLOYD Says: |
| A HAPPY HUNTING CUSTOMER |
|
"John Reilly and his nephew, Gavin, run a professional business from their yard near Hungerford. All the horses are well looked after and the premises is immaculate, with excellent trial facilities. Both Gavin and John are polite and courteous to deal with and most importantly, efficient - phoning, faxing and emailing by return. They did not try to sell me every horse in the yard, instead the one that they felt suited me best. I am absolutely delighted with my new hunter, Sidney and would recommend that anyone looking for a new horse, contacts John or Gavin with their wish list." Lucinda Lloyd, Bucks |

| THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALI |

We recently purchased a pony from Gavin at Elite Irish Horses and the process was a pleasure all the way through.Gavin was helpful and courteous. We looked at 3 horses and they were all well presented, mannerly and as described. The trial facilities were excellent, with access to a large outdoor surface and the boomerang xc course.Gavin was able to recommend vets and transport which was most useful, and was willing to keep the pony for 10 days as we were unable to have her straight away.We would definitely look again on the up to date website. |

SUSIE DRUMMOND BRADY Says: |
| I AM VERY PLEASED.......... |
|
I am very pleased with Merlin and have had a few quiet days on him and done a couple of sponsored rides which involved some substantial jumps. Having never been hot shod or clipped before, with his temperament he has accepted everything extremely well and he is a dream to get ready for cubbing in the half light of dawn and makes no fuss whatsoever over boxing and travelling. He has the makings to be a wonderful horse. |

CARRIE VICKROY Says: |

|
I have dealt with John Reilly for the past 4 years now in the buying of young ponies.
John Was initially introduced to me by a friend who had known him for years. He has always been very accommodating and helpful. Our first visits were to his yard in Ireland where he gave up huge periods of his time to make our visit worthwhile, easy, hospitable and above all successful.
I have bought over the last 4 years approximately 8 horses and ponies for myself and clients from John, whereupon we have then produced and competed them to different levels but always with success. Some of the ponies we kept for ourselves have gone on to qualify for Scope and Blue Chip and amounted sums of up to £400 BSJA winnings in approximately 18 months.
Whilst John’s ponies are not always the cheapest on the market, they all have good breeding, manners and established groundwork in which to work on from.
We continue to buy from John and now send future clients to him aswell. His base in England has now just made the process easier and more accessible. Gavin his nephew who now runs the yard is very experienced, has a good eye, polite and very willing to put himself out for you. The yard is immaculate and so are the ponies and horses living there.
