Elite Irish Horses
The Source of Champions
![]() How We WorkAll our horses are carefully described having been assessed by John and this staff. Such descriptions will in our opinion accurately describe the horse’s temperament, it’s training and experience to date, suitability for relevant equestrian disciplines and future potential.
Once we have spoken to a potential customer and assessed their requirements we will offer some options that best suit the rider and their aspirations from their potential purchase. Customers once they visit will be able to see each horse ridden by a member of our experienced staff. Once a customer is happy that a particular horse is “suitable” for their requirements they we are very happy for them to “try” the horse without obligation to purchase.
Sale / Purchase completion.
Once a customer decides to purchase an animal for the agreed price, a Bill of Sale is prepared and a deposit of £200 cash is required immediately to secure the purchase. This deposit will ensure that the horse is not sold by ourselves for seven days. This allows the purchaser adequate time to have the horse vetted. Such a deposit will only guarantee that the particular animal will be held for seven days. In the event of the horse passing the veterinary examination this deposit will be refunded immediately and without hesitation or obligation to purchase another horse from ourselves. Vetting.
All horses are sold subject to vetting by a practitioner of the customers choice. Once a deposit is paid and a horse has been successfully vetted the animal is deemed then to be the property of the purchaser and the terms of our warranty and returns policy (see below ) then come into force.
Part Exchanges
On occasions we may do part exchanges but only when the money changing hands is in excess of 50% of the total transaction value.
Warranty & returns.
On completion of the bill of sale the horse is deemed to be sold, subject to vetting, where appropriate. Once the horse has successfully passed the vet we have no legal obligation to take it back. However, within our thirty day warranty period a horse that is felt to be unsuitable by it’s new owner may be returned and a suitable replacement horse will be provided to them of equal value.
